How to book

Interested in making a booking? The information here will help you decide if the Priory Hall is right for your event.

The Hallmaster online booking facility is the quickest and easiest way to book, it shows available dates and times and your request is automatically forwarded to the Bookings Secretary - you can see the Diary here and it is updated as requests occur. N.B. Bookings are provisional until confirmed by the Booking Secretary (please allow at least 48 hrs).

Before making a booking here's some guidance about how to use our online booking system.

First â€‹view our charges and our T's & C's which are shown in the documents below. Optional use of the kitchen is included.

If you feel the hall is right for your event then ...

First (and importantly) view our regular weekly/monthly bookings here as the hall is quite busy during the week. (Please note these regular weekly/monthly items may not be on the diary yet but will still apply)

Next check to see if your date is free by looking at our Online diary here.

Our Charges are here.

To make a booking:

Follow this Hallmaster user guide here which explains each step. We recommend setting 'Privacy' to Public as this allows your event name only to show on the diary but hides your contact details. This is useful if friends/family/group members want to see your event on the diary.

Alternatively you can watch this YouTube video. How to book with Hallmaster as a customer (N.B. We only have 1 space for hire not multiple rooms)

We allow reasonable set up and clearing time at no charge so the event timings are the chargeable elements - use the online Special requests/Comments box in your booking request to indicate your entry and exit times for prep and clearing request separately. The booking 'defaults' to our standard hourly rate but will be adjusted by the Bookings Secretary prior to confirmation.

N.B. If your booking requires access on a Friday please contact the Bookings secretary in the first instance as this day is protected to accommodate w/e bookings but may be available at our discretion:

Bookings secretary: Di Theobalds - [email protected] and always include a contact number (mobile preferred).

Alternatively you can complete a booking form using the documents below. Please browse the documents and submit a completed booking form  - choose whichever format your prefer, Word or PDF.

In all cases you can email the Bookings secretary Di Theobalds at [email protected] who will be happy to answer any questions. (Please bear in mind we are a charitable organisation run by unpaid volunteers but we'll get back to you as soon as possible and help you with any questions you might have).

We look forward to welcoming you to the Priory Hall.

Bookings secretary Di Theobalds on behalf of PHMC
